Seminole Hard Rock Casino Tampa Winning Gamblers Being Followed Home, Ambushed, Shot
We here at Gambling911.com are huge fans of the Seminoles and the Hard Rock casino empire. They are friends of the Gambling911.com website and we were invited to their amazing grand opening of the Guitar Hotel here in Hollywood, Florida. But something truly terrifying is happening as it pertains to the Tampa Hard Rock.
Bill Krackomberger (to us he'll always be the original Jenny Woo) spoke about this on his most recent VSiN "Unscripted" broadcast.
So what gives?
We've never been to the Tampa Seminole Hard Rock and Krackman does say "I actually like this casino" while noting it is the "number one money maker in the United States".
Appearing along side a Donny Deutsch lookalike, Bill relayed the story: "So this person got robbed on his way out and they followed him home. I'm not trying to blame Hard Rock. I love the pools. I love the casino."
We know he loves the buffet (see "Casino Times News Jenny Woo Imperial Palace").
Bill instead went on to read off what some person was telling him.
"The Seminoles will treat card counters like the FBI's Most Wanted but not put enough security on the parking lot. I will bet you the amount of money they have on protection of their gaming is far less than the protection of people leaving casinos."
Last September, a Riverview couple was ambushed and robbed after being followed from the Hard Rock Casino, Tampa police said a similar robbery happened in Hyde Park.
FOX 13 first reported that the Riverview couple was ambushed at their home, shot and robbed at their doorstep after investigators said the suspects followed the couple from the casino. The couple hit a "jackpot" on the slots at the casino that night.
However, investigators with the Tampa Police Department said eight months before that, a similar robbery took place in Hyde Park. They said a Tampa man won $100,000 while playing black jack back in December.
The more recent robbery Krackman made reference to occurred along Hillsborough Ave. in Tampa at 3:11 a.m the morning of February 5.

From Fox 13:
The victim pulled over, and the suspect got out of the other car, wearing a mask, and pointed a gun in the victim's face. The suspect took $3,700 from the victim, which he had won at the casino, according to Tampa police.
Detectives say after reviewing casino surveillance video, they saw the victim leaving the casino at 3:04 a.m., being followed into the parking garage by what appeared to be a ‘spotter' waiting to see what car he got in.
Then, a Buick followed the victim’s car and was seen on traffic cameras following the victim to Hillsborough Ave.
The search warrant says, "It should be noted per Seminole Hard Rock law enforcement, this appears to be a pattern with victims in their casino who win a large jackpot amount and leave the hotel in a vehicle (getting struck and then robbed at gunpoint)."
"You only see one guy on bike patrol," Krackman noted in regard to casino garages in general, also pointing out that the person on patrol is rarely armed. "What are you going to do if someone robs you with a gun? They're just gonna let them rob you."
